Robust Door Frame Reinforcement Plates

Each reinforcement plate is made from solid stainless steel with dimensions of 7.00 x 4.00 x 0.80 cm (2.75 x 1.57 x 0.31 in) and features a matte black surface finish. The plates are engineered to install behind standard strike plates or directly replace them — reinforcing the vulnerable zone where the latch or deadbolt engages the frame. Their rigid construction mitigates frame flex under load, supports longer screw penetration, and reduces wear caused by repeated bolt impact. Tested for compatibility with common UK door constructions including solid core, composite, and engineered timber doors. Intended for use on inward- and outward-swinging hinged doors where improved latch retention and resistance to forced entry are priorities.
