Silicon Carbide Fluted Rubbing Brick

Physical specs: Approx. 12 cm long × 8 cm wide × 4 cm thick (±1–3 cm tolerance). Grit level: 20 grit coarse abrasive. Construction: Fluted silicon carbide abrasive layer fused to a solid red plastic body featuring a built-in ergonomic handle. Colour: Red (may appear marginally different under varying lighting or screen conditions). Unlike flat-surface bricks, the fluted geometry allows deeper penetration into surface irregularities — making it uniquely suited for correcting trowel marks, feathering plasterboard transitions, and evening out thermal insulation board joints. The plastic housing ensures dimensional stability in humid job-site environments where wooden-handled tools may swell or warp. Frequently chosen by UK builders for post-screed smoothing, off-form concrete refinement, and pre-paint preparation of lime-hybrid renders — especially where minimal dust generation and predictable wear rate are required on time-sensitive residential projects.
