Precision Metal Bassoon Strap Regulator

A purpose-built metal regulator for bassoon balancing bars, engineered to deliver repeatable, fine-tuned strap adjustments. Constructed from hardened steel with a compact 8 cm footprint and lightweight 42 g profile. Designed to interface directly with standard bassoon strap anchor points and balancing bar rods without modification or additional tools. The regulator’s calibrated threading provides tactile feedback during adjustment, enabling stable tension locking at any desired setting. Maintains integrity across temperature and humidity fluctuations typical in UK concert halls, school music rooms, and outdoor festivals. Compatible with both traditional leather bassoon straps and modern synthetic alternatives. Fits standard 6–8 mm diameter balancing bar rods and accommodates strap widths up to 35 mm—making it suitable for student, intermediate, and professional-grade setups.
