Durable Pneumatic Spring Door Closer

Engineered for resilience in everyday UK environments, this door closer integrates a hardened steel torsion spring and maintenance-free pneumatic damper inside a powder-coated metal enclosure. Size: 240 mm × 45 mm × 55 mm; weight: 1.2 kg; maximum door weight capacity: 90 kg. The spring initiates smooth motion; the pneumatic chamber governs velocity profile to ensure controlled deceleration. Designed for surface mounting on timber, MDF or metal door frames. Fits standard interior doors with 35–45 mm thickness and standard hinge configurations. Proven effective in high-cycle settings including student accommodation blocks, primary school classrooms and community centre entrances.
