Black Kashaka Rhythm Shakers Set

This set contains 4 individual Kashaka shakers (2 pairs), each featuring a solid black ABS plastic sphere (approx. 6 cm diameter) filled with fine iron sand, suspended on tightly knotted, abrasion-resistant braided climbing rope (approx. 25 cm total length). Total weight per shaker is light and ergonomic — ideal for sustained play. The material combination ensures consistent sound response and mechanical resilience over time. Sound generation relies on physical interaction: gentle shaking yields a granular 'crunch', while deliberate wrist flicks or controlled impacts produce a percussive 'knock' — offering two complementary sonic textures in one instrument. No batteries, no electronics, no setup required. Used across UK schools for inclusive music education, by occupational therapists for sensory-motor development, and by amateur musicians exploring West African rhythm traditions. Equally effective for solo relaxation or group facilitation.
