Teaching Pelvis Model Featuring Full-Term Removable Fetus

Designed for clarity and pedagogical utility, this model combines a rigid female pelvis with a lifelike 9-month fetus rendered in anatomically proportionate scale. The pelvis shows true-to-life curvature, subpubic angle, and pelvic floor attachments; the fetus displays developed vernix, lanugo distribution, and natural flexion — all cast in resilient resin with controlled surface texture for grip and definition. Its modular design permits independent examination of pelvic diameters, fetal lie, and descent pathways. Widely adopted in UK pre-registration midwifery programmes, it serves both foundational anatomy tuition and advanced birth planning discussions — particularly effective when paired with ultrasound image comparison or birth plan workshops.
