Precision Perforated Mulch For Uniform Field Performance

Engineered for reliability in variable UK field conditions, this perforated mulching film uses a consistent 25μm LDPE substrate with factory-applied, non-fraying perforations (12mm Ø, 40×30cm grid). Each 1.2m × 100m roll is wound with edge alignment markers and tension-controlled winding to ensure smooth, wrinkle-free laying using standard tractor-mounted mulch layers. It delivers measurable agronomic advantages: verified reduction in evaporation (up to 35% vs bare soil in trial data), improved emitter efficiency (>92% water delivery to root zone), and measurable increases in early biomass accumulation in brassica and lettuce trials conducted across East Anglia and Kent. Recommended for contract growers, co-operative members and export-focused producers who rely on repeatable outcomes, audit-ready documentation and compatibility with UK-wide agronomy advisory services (e.g., AHDB, NIAB).
