3 2W I2S Class D Amplifier Board

Miniature audio amplifier board based on the MAX98357A IC, sized approx. 1.9 x 1.8 cm (0.75 x 0.71 in). Provides up to 3.2W output into 4Ω speakers and 1.8W into 8Ω, powered by a flexible 2.7–5.5V DC supply. Fully compliant with the I2S digital audio interface standard — supports sample rates from 8kHz to 96kHz and tolerates both 3.3V and 5V logic inputs. Gain is configurable in five steps: 3dB, 6dB, 9dB (default), 12dB, or 15dB, using simple resistor connections. Includes thermal and overcurrent safeguards. Designed for low-noise, high-efficiency amplification in compact electronic builds — especially suited for education, maker labs, and embedded audio development where space and power efficiency matter.
