Thick-Wall Microwave Egg Steamer

Measurements: 24 cm length × 11.5 cm width × 6 cm height per poacher. Constructed from high-density PP with reinforced sidewalls — visibly thicker than standard plastic kitchenware. Total package contains two units, each with fully sealed lid and precision-moulded steam vents. Water is added to the base until it reaches the level of the hollow support bars — this ensures optimal steam generation without overflow. Eggs rest on the raised grid, fully exposed to rising vapour but never submerged. The lid’s micro-vented design allows slight pressure build-up for faster, gentler coagulation — resulting in silky whites and creamy yolks. Post-use, eggs release cleanly from the smooth interior; no scrubbing required. Tested across UK voltage ranges and typical household microwave models (e.g., Panasonic NN-ST65JB, Samsung ME77FR, Grundig MIG 2020 WH). Compatible with all standard UK plug-in microwaves — no adapters or modifications needed.
