This induction heating section uses a low-voltage DC power supply (12-48V). Maximum current 20A, maximum power 1000W. This circuit can not only be used for induction heating but also, when the copper tube is connected to a high-frequency transformer, it becomes a powerful inverter. To enhance cooling, a custom substrate as thick as 85mm is used, providing powerful cooling capacity. Tested with a 53V power supply for correct operation. Due to its moderate size, it can be used by small parts DIY enthusiasts for hardening, annealing, and other heat treatments. It can also be used with a graphite crucible to melt gold, silver, copper, aluminum, and other metals. Heats evenly and quickly, making it very convenient. Uses pillars for less heat and greater efficiency. Although this circuit can withstand a momentary input current of 20-30A, it is recommended not to exceed 15A for safe operation. You can easily add an ammeter between the power supply and the heater driver board to monitor current overload. Notes: The kit includes a complete set of driver circuit components and brass. Buyers need to provide their own power supply and cooling unit. The circuit board uses a double-sided fiberglass board, with copper traces widened for the main connections. The entire back of the resonant circuit is used jointly. For continuous operation, add a fan to blow down from above to cool the resonant capacitors and other components. When using a switching power supply, be aware that due to high power, they generally have a slow-start function, meaning the machine's output voltage rises slowly. If the induction heating circuit is accessed before the voltage reaches 12V, and the starting voltage is insufficient to drive the vibrations, it can result in the simultaneous conduction of two MOS tubes, burning out components. Therefore, ensure the switching power supply's starting voltage reaches above 12V before connecting the induction heating circuit. The volume of the object being heated inside the heating coil should not exceed 1/5 of the coil's volume (for a heating cylinder, the heating coil's diameter should be less than 1/3 of the cylinder's diameter), otherwise, it may cause overload or burn out the power supply to the circuit.
