Welcome to the store! The AD5693R breakout board is a 16-bit with an I2C interface and a temperature-compensated 2.5V internal reference for compact, high-precision output. We broke out the ADDRA0 pin so you can connect two DACs on an I2C bus by simply pulling the A0 pin high (or closing the jumper on the back) to prevent conflicts. A 6-pin header is also included for breadboarding. Works with either 3.3V or 5V logic, and you can set the maximum output to either 2.5V or 5V (2xVref). If you are supplying 3.3V, you can set the output range to either 2.5V or Vin. We have an easy-to-use library and tutorial with a sine wave output example that will work with almost any microcontroller or microcomputer with an I2C host. Comes with a small 0.1" standard header if you want to use it with a breadboard or perfboard. Four mounting holes for easy mounting. There is an optional 3.5mm terminal block on the PCB - we do not include 3.5mm terminal blocks, but they are common and stocked in the shop - you can solder in place if you wish. To get you started quickly, we designed a custom PCB in the STEMMA QT form factor for easy connection. The STEMMA QT connectors on both sides are compatible with the Qwiic I2C connector. This allows you to make solderless connections between the board and the AD5693R, or link it with a variety of other sensors and accessories with compatible cables.
