Have you ever wondered why risotto spoons have a hole in the head? This allows the rice to settle while stirring, grating the grains and giving the risotto a creamy and smooth texture. The asymmetric shape of the spoon is not only a design feature. The pointed tip allows you to reach the very nooks and crannies of the pot, ensuring you mix every grain of rice into the risotto to create the perfect dish. The risotto spoon can also be used for many other dishes. It goes great with polenta, rich sauces and, of course, other rice dishes such as paella and one-pot curries. The risotto spoon, part of the new STAUB range of utensils, is made of high-quality material to ensure the best results. Matte black silicone is heat resistant up to 220°C and does not leave scratches on enameled cast iron cookware or non-stick pans. The ergonomic handle is made of acacia wood, making it pleasant to the touch and has a hanging hole. Thanks to their timeless design, all kitchen utensils perfectly match our cookware and tableware.
