Unlike USB, Cat5e supplies both data and power over a single cable, and thus eliminates the need for a separate outlet at the table to run Tap. Cat5e cabling can also be cut and crimped to exact lengths, doing away with cable coils for clutter-free deployments of Tap. While 10 meters of cabling are included, any Cat5e or higher cabling can be used for runs of up to 40 meters.
