For his final year on tour, Roger Federer needed a tennis racquet that would help him compete with a new generation of heavy baseliners while maintaining his full-court style. The Wilson RF 01 Future is inspired by this racquet. It is our lightest RF racquet in the collection, with a slightly higher balance, making it highly maneuverable and giving it extra power for the next generation of players. The SABR frame design gives it versatility, allowing for the pace, spin and direction changes that are characteristic of Roger's game. You'll notice the quick head speed of B&G's Glide Guard and the great feel of the ball pocket thanks to Braid 45 technology.  Braid 45 - The frame construction places the double-woven fibers at a 45-degree angle, allowing the weave to breathe more on impact.SABR Frame Design - Developed in partnership with RF to provide excellent versatility and enable the changes of pace, spin and direction that are the hallmarks of his versatile style.Feel Fill - The interior is filled with PU foam to optimize vibration dampening, authentic to RF.Glide Guard - Integrated, smooth bumper and eyelet provide less drag and increased racket head speed.
