Description

Technical Specifications: Waterproof housing Replaceable measuring electrodes Simultaneous measurement of pH and temperature PH measuring range: 0.00 - 14.00 pH Measurement resolution: 0.01 pH Accuracy: 0.01 pH Temperature measuring range: 0.1 - 60.0 C Measurement resolution : 0.1 C Accuracy: 0.5 C Working temperature: 0 - 60 C Liquid Temperature Compensation (ATC) Calibration: Factory, Electronic, 2-point / 3-point Dimensions: 183mm X 37mm Weight: 88g meter (246g all set) Power supply: 3 x 1.5V LR44 battery (complete set in the meter and spare included) Auto-off function after 5 minutes of inactivity The kit includes: Electronic pH tester with ATC function Calibration buffer 4.01, 6.86 and 9.18 pH (for making a solution with a known pH) Plastic box / case Detailed English manual Construction : Battery compartment cover Battery level indicator PH display Temperature display Power button Calibration and C / F change button Measured value hold button Maximum immersion level Protective cap for the measuring electrode Measuring electrode The use of a pH tester m.in. : Fishkeeping gastronomy agriculture, forestry, water protection gardening, hydroponics swimming pools & spas Food industry chemical industry distilling and brewing pH determination of water, urine, sewage, etc. wherever the measurement of the pH reagent is needed ATC function ( A utomatic T emperature C ompensation) - temperature measurement and compensation, the tester's indication is in the range of 0-60 C. Thanks to this, we obtain the exact result of the acidity of a given liquid. Due to the variability of the pH of the liquid in relation to its temperature, only the acid meter with the ATC function allows you to obtain a reliable result consistent with the actual average value. The pH tester meets the EU directives and is CE marked. In addition, the pH tester is made of materials that meet the strict requirements of the EU ROHS directive. Calibration of the pH meter Make 3 known pH solutions using 250 ml distilled water each and calibration buffers (4.01; 6.86; 9.18 pH included). Immerse the tester electrode in a pH 6.86 solution (at 25) and wait for the reading to stabilize. Press the "CAL" (calibration) button for 5 seconds and release. The display will show a flashing "CAL" followed by a flashing 6.86 when it stops flashing the calibration for that point is complete. Clean the electrode in distilled water and dry it. Repeat the procedure from point 2 and 3 for solutions of 4.01 and 9.18 pH. Clean electrode with distilled water and dry. Put meter back in buffer solution to test calibration. If it is incorrect, repeat the calibration. Taking the measurement: Remove the protective cap. If crystals appear beneath it, this is not a cause for concern, as it is normal with pH tester electrodes. The problem will disappear after rinsing the electrode with cleaning liquid/water. Turn on the tester with the "ON / OFF" button and immerse the electrode of the pH meter in the test liquid. Stir gently until the displayed value stabilizes, then read the value from the display. After the measurement, rinse the electrode with water and wipe it with a cloth. Put on the protective cap Clean the electrode with distilled water each time before and after use. Do not touch the sensor electrode as oil on the skin may damage the sensor and affect the readings. Store the meter with a few drops of electrode storage liquid in the protective cap (e.g. GIB KCL or Growth Technology). Failure to do so may affect the correct readings and the life of the device. Large variations in readings can be caused by the need for calibration , dry electrode, or weak batteries. Recalibration is required when: battery replacement, very frequent measurements, the display shows the message "ERR", long periods without taking measurements, the need for very accurate measurements.
